I started with the trial version of Captivate 9 and then got a licensed version of Captivate 2017 when it was released. Illustrator? Did they use Word (yes, really, Word)? Captivate. Adobe Creative Cloud. Microsoft Office.

I think it’s obvious that I use Adobe Captivate and almost always have the latest version. I do also keep the previous version installed on my main system. The main applications from that suite that were important to me were Photoshop and Audition. Until very recently, Photoshop CS5 was more than enough for my needs.

It’s time for upgrades, and a Poll

In the past couple of weeks two important eLearning software upgrades have hit the virtual streets: Adobe CS4 came out this week. Photoshop CS4 Extended. Version Cue CS4. I will be upgrading my license at work as soon as possible.

I'm not sure I really needed an excuse to upgrade to the new iPad but, as I expected, the high-resolution display has provided me with one. And then there's Adobe Photoshop Touch. At $6.99, less than 1% the price of the Extended Mac/PC version, yet absolutely magical to use. Web browsing is as clear as on any desktop.
