That is what one senior exec said to me, the other day when it came to social learning. Slideshare. They share them (the premises of slideshare) with other users, who want to view them and download them. Even with slideshare, you can actually post e-books and other documents, so it follows suit in a system. Not at all.

It is tough to stay on top of all the great stuff being offered out there, but the blogs and social media certainly help. When it comes to free cloud apps, I also share them on my blog's Free Cloud Apps page.

In the case of the second option that's a lot to look at, so the embeddable player provides the option of viewing the media component in a separate pop-up window. This is SlideShare on steroids, a way to effectively archive all aspects of a presentation and to view these in any combination on a variety of platforms.

Is it a blu-ray player? Personally, dump this feature and offer some social media components right there on the screen. Again, with over 2,400 social media sites you can go beyond. Personally, there should be a button for Slideshare. But for others, they take the time to put a bow on it. A gift card? An expensive watch?

New social which offers expert network, skills training ratings (using a slick interface), built in web conferencing (their own and they also offer WebEx and GoTo Meeting), wizards on the admin side which not only saves time but is easy to use. Each update takes the platform up on notch on its competitors. Easy to use interface.
