In what may be another boon for mLearning, last week Google released a beta tool called Swiffy , a free Flash to HTML5 converter. My first thought about Swiffy was that it would solve a LOT of the problems I hear with SWF content not playing on Apple devices like the iPad. Fingers crossed! "

Articulate Tab - Easily the best thing about the new version, Articulate integrates Presenter into PowerPoint 2007’s ribbon bar. Video needs to be in the FLV format, but Articulate supplies a conversion tool just in case your video editing software doesn’t convert to FLV. So, my top 5 improvements: 1.

does work with 64 bit and PowerPoint 2007 or below, because I have PowerPoint 2010 and a Windows 64 bit computer. When you move over a video MP4 file onto your page, it converts to FLV video – but when you decide to publish and select video – you can output the entire project as a MP4. I am unsure if Snap! So, no Snap!

It has long been known that we can add Flash video and interactive swf content into Captivate, but doing so is not as simple as we would like, and there is no easy way to communicate data between the imported content and the host Captivate movie. Second, Adobe has introduced Widgets to Captivate 4. No word in when at this point.
