In February of 2011, Mobile Learning and the Continuing Death of Flash , I pointed to the smart moves by Rapid Intake to work around this problem. Well, I believe we've seen continuing signs of this with Adobe moving its tools towards HTML 5. And now, Adobe Admits: Apple Won, Flash For Mobile is Done, HTML5 is the Future.

Adobe Captivate 6. Callidus Cloud – Rapid Intake Authoring Suite. Adobe eLearning Studio but it is with Dreamweaver and you need to download the HTML5 kit. Apple – 736,00 apps (as of Nov 2012), reportedly Apple has approved 1 million apps. Apple – 35 billion (Oct 2012).

I ponder how this would have played out if Apple had ventured into the television market as many analysts expected them to 2012 and that opportunity remains for 2013. 2012 will be remembered as the year the current shifted on Adobe Flash as the preferred training content and rich media delivery format. Near Bullseye.
