While there are many tools available, it is advisable to choose one that supports eLearning content standards such as SCORM, AICC, and CBT. . For instance, some of these tools are designed for those who are novices and just want to use the existing templates to create content with basic features such as quizzes and interactions.

Hello, I have created an interactive project in Captivate 2017 and it plays fine locally from the Index file, however when we load it onto our SalesConnect platform (which does play other html5 interactive programs) we just get a spinning icon which never fully loads. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

For more interactive elements, I used Flash and imported the SWFs into Authorware. Almost every course involved using Flash for interactive elements (animations, games, quizzes, simulations, video, etc.). These courses can be published as SCORM or AICC compliant courses.

Adobe Flash - An essential tool for creating highly interactive elements, including animation, games, immersive learning simulations, and almost anything else you want if you can manage writing or finding the actionscript. Being able to add quizzes and publish SCORM/AICC compliant courses is a big plus too.

flv [Flash video format] is not supported in some servers by default and it needs to be configured. Though SCORM and AICC are standards but different LMS interpret some of the commands/APIs in a different manner so it’s advisable to check this in advance. Make sure to include the all file types [ like *.swf, No support for AS 3.0
