LMS-agnostic eLearning complies with industry standards The SCORM standard is the oldest and best-known eLearning standard, but LMS-agnostic content should support the AICC and xAPI standards as well. AICC Content libraries might also reference the AICC standard, which is similar to SCORM 1.2. also support AICC.

At least SCORM support – Plenty still support AICC. xAPI support – Hit the gas this is flying fast. SaaS courses that push out to an LMS, but still sit on the SaaS Authoring tool vendor’s server. How about adding an xAPI checker or something along those lines? Output to HTML5. Works with any LMS .

Questions: What is the common identifier that allows the xAPI to connect the data provided by the ‘activity provider’ to a specific user in the LRS? Answer: xAPI allows for learners to be identified by email address, Open ID or an account on some system, such as an LMS. How do you best see xAPI interfacing with an LMS?
