Two minuses for me though is lack of mobile apps (everyone does mobile responsive) and is miss on stronger analytical data and data visualization, which while the system does provide solid reporting and analytics, the way the world is heading in the corporate space, a system needs more to match it.

Course standards include xAPI and PENS, besides the standards of SCORM. . I will say that I’m not a fan of the analytics angle, because it opens up the approach that you could use the system in a somewhat manner of an LCMS or mini LMS (many SaaS authoring tools follow that path – and I dislike that too).

Must include analytics and reports. There are three types of systems that slide under “learning platforms” The most common one supports PowerPoint, and videos and other content – and can track it, but they DO NOT support any version of SCORM, nor do they support AICC, PENS, Tin Can and so on.

The only standards it does not work with is PENS and CMI-5). Analytical data is solid and well-rounded. Definitely someone to watch for 2020. .

PENS is nearly non-existent in this segment and CMI-5 is extremely new and few vendors have it – expect more in 2019. Don’t worry though, I have that feature in Reports/Analytics ( time tracking). Course standards are course standards, and yes, you have the option to select CMI-5 and xAPI. xAPI as my top three.

Analytics – Doesn’t matter if it is robust or a pie chart. If it offers analytics. As long as it has one of these.
