For the iPad I use the Cosmonaut stylus because the thicker pen helps me hold it more like I would on a whiteboard than on a piece of paper. The newer PC tablets have pen input and some come with a stylus. By the way, Blair has a new ebook, Everybody Draw Now , where he explains how to capture and communicate ideas.

Articulate Storyline – Great product – read my review here - yeah, they pitch it for masses and yeah they can do some things, but this is really for developers and instructional designers. Offer ebook capability. Screen capture. Multiple learning paths or branching. Quiz tool comes with random questions and quiz bank.

AICC, SCORM and PENS support. 15 Articulate Studio 09 - Until I see what 2013 can do (and it is about to be in beta), Studio sits at number 15. Despite what Articulate might say the most used products within Studio are Presenter and Quizmaker. Easy to use interface and supports SCORM and AICC. #18 Not with Publisher.

You may have heard the news last week that Articulate launched a new screencasting tool called Screenr. If you use the Articulate products, you can the web object feature to add videos to your slides. Use a tablet PC or something that lets you do pen input to simulate a whiteboard. I really like Screenr.

One quick question…How do you do the annotation on your slides inside of Articulate? Is there an Articulate update I missed to allow you to do this? I would like to see an example of a training session that focuses on how to use PP and Articulate in a software training session. (I December 18th, 2007. December 18th, 2007.

The latter is slowly gaining speed, which is an advantage to LMS vendors who have a CAT in their own product – which is SCORM,PENS/IMS compliant. I believe once Articulate and some of the other big names truly launch products (such as Storyline), the market will wait. People are reading a lot of eBooks on tablets too.
