I’ve been using Articulate Presenter 09 for a couple of months now and have come up with the five things I like best about the new version. Articulate has released two updates to Presenter 09 and most of the problems I had have been cleared up, or I’ve found workarounds. Thank you, Articulate.

So I don’t want to present a list of tools that might not offer any real value to you. I use it all the time to pull colors from images when I work in PowerPoint. For rapid elearning converting to the SWF and FLV Flash formats are important and Format Factory supports this. FLV Player. Pixie is a simple color picker.

Articulate released the Studio 09 update to all their tools a couple of weeks ago. The full version is $1699 if anyone wants to buy me an early Christmas present for personal use. Articulate Studio 09. Articulate Presenter is arguably the most popular PowerPoint to Flash conversion tool available.

Leslie demonstrated how easy it was to narrate a PowerPoint presentation, export it as an MP4 video and play it back on a video iPod. I couldn't do this with Articulate. This installs a PowerPoint add-in which allows you to narrate your PowerPoint and, optionally, add presenter video via webcam.

by Lectora – a PowerPoint authoring tool à la Articulate. I’d put about half of them in the keeping-up-with-the-Joneses category, meaning the addition of basic features that Articulate already has. Technically, a skilled programmer could probably get Articulate to do that by adding their own HTML or JavaScript, but Snap!
