Many of us techies have been using RSS for years, and you may even run your own blog. I think there’s a ton of potential related to RSS in terms of learning and I don’t think many people are harnessing it well (yet). What I'm suggesting is that learning departments should provide ready access to a set of tools and help employees (through training, resources, guide-by-the-side, etc.) learn how to use these tools and build skills in employees that ultimately makes them better tacit workers. Yes this does provide some formality to it.
