If their new company does not have an LMS or an LMS with a LRS, then that data record has to go somewhere to wait.

A newer standard than even xAPI, Caliper is somewhat less ambitious than xAPI in the number of use cases considered and APIs specified. Tim Martin of Rustici praised the Caliper design process at DevLearn.
