Hacking Siri for Learning

A developer was able to hack Siri to find and play content through media center software. Couple of ideas pop into my mind right away about how technology like Siri could help learning – first, to function as an effective search agent within corporate CMS and KM solutions. Very cool indeed.

Learning and KM: Separated at birth?

T wo years ago, DevLearn and KM World took place simultaneously in downtown San Jose. I sensed that learning and knowledge management were converging and invited bloggers form both sides to get together at the Tidehouse to share viewpoints and guzzle beer. KM World 2009 is next week. I wonder if many KM fans will join us.

The analytics told me that over 40% of the users are Active Users (a term Jive uses to describe all users who log in to consume content without necessarily interacting with the content in any manner). They are lurking on the edge, consuming content. Is it an indicator of the value of the content being generated on the platform?
