Now that DevLearn is over, we’ve been able to catch our breath and look back at such an incredible experience. Whether it was discussions on integrated LRS solutions or turn-key options, it was very exciting to see more people’s use of xAPI. These are my live blogged notes from the opening session at this year's DevLearn, hosted by the eLearning Guild and happening in Las Vegas. seems to be talking about the difference between using Google Analytics vs. xAPI for capturing data. To see resolution/pixel in xapi you'd have to add some code.

And thanks to the faster production time and lower cost e-Learning is now an option in many more use cases than it was 10 years ago. But it will only be useful (cost effective) in very high stake training. There is also growing interest for XAPI and 70:20:10. But for many purposes this quality is sufficient. No it won’t.

Due a recent rib injury, I will not be at DevLearn this year. Besides the usual of mobile and video (more on that in a sec), the biggest requests these days are for xAPI, custom domain control and LRS. While you do not need an LRS to have xAPI, and xAPI is still a work in progress, it will get better over time.
