Navigation is clearly visible throughout the system, and again the focus is ease of use. As you know, you have once chance to get them in there and use the system, otherwise they are gone. Reports are canned but an ad-hoc feature does exist and the key here, exists within the system, so whatever your needs are they are met.

In the webinar, I brought up how LMS vendors were themselves perpetuating the myth of the bad things of social media (which is a necessary component of social learning), so, rather than identify the facts and data to potential clients who are concerned about social media and thus social learning, they instead do not include it in their system.

If your employee or customer cannot figure out how to move around the front end of the system (what they see) then no matter what you place on the screen, they won’t use it. Equally horrible, is that some companies are still using old versions of IE or an outdated computer system with Windows 2000 on it. They won’t.

Bookmark feature is interesting, but with this one item – Saba’s past UI issues appear – too bad, it has an spin on the bookmark concept.epub file upload that worked, which is rarely seen in any file acceptance of other social learning systems and even the majority of e-learning solutions to begin with.

Vendor can create a component so you can push directly into your LMS, without having to upload it directly (extra cost). Preview window can be seen in Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari browsers, and when choosing preview will do so – based on your set criteria of what browser to do so (within the product).

Works in Chrome, Firefox, IE 9 (did not test Safari). Terms “trainer” and “trainee” – these are instructor led terms, not e-learning. Requirement for the “trainer” to have their e-mail address before course is launched – why? Preview window.

In test version, product did not work in FireFox, had problems in Safari, but worked well in Internet Explorer. Something called Liquid Coach, located on the dashboard, when clicked opened up a browser within the system. Liquid Coach – When clicked it opened a browser window within the system, and I could search.
