In PowerPoint you can build as many master slides and layouts as you need. The easiest way to clean up your client’s slides is to start with the master slide. Create the look you need, and then apply the master template to all of the slides. Your client didn’t use the master slide to create the course.

The problem with this is that if the person is a fast reader, it’s frustrating to wait for the slide to catch up. Let me explain.

This may help when viewing the tutorials above. As a rule of thumb, once I get three or more slides with the same information, I try to put as much as I can on the master slide so it’s easier to edit and maintain. Use Slide Titles as Metadata. I like to move the titles in the master slide up and off the slide.

But there’s a difference between elearning courses and slide presentations. When it comes to presentations, it’s a blank slide waiting for content. In a presentation, the slide is all you see.
