I am attempting to embed short (10 sec) video files to a captivate 2019 project and publish it as an swf file. When viewing the swf file, the videos appear to be attempting to load (i get loader icon indications) but the video never loads. I need this video saved into the swf file, if at all possible.

Prior to publishing a lesson, choose Project > HTML5 Tracker to open the HTML5 Tracker (shown below). Choose Project > Skin Editor and edit the lesson's playbar so that it doesn't contain features that might cause problems within a Help Topic. When publishing, take the learner's device into consideration.

I have a project that has 4 small videos embedded within. I thought perhaps I could convert the videos to.wmv and re-embed them and see if that would work… nope. I thought perhaps I could convert the videos to.wmv and re-embed them and see if that would work… nope. It looks like I can’t embed a.wmv file.

Frequently, we embed Adobe Captivate simulations within a Lectora eLearning course. But note that if you simply insert the Captivate simulation as a Flash swf file into Lectora without doing anything to limit the course navigation, then the learner can easily click right on through to the next page in the title.
