Do you know of another tool besides adobe connect for creating an on demand module that has the webcam/video locked in the upper corner while having a ppt. Thank you for this. Courses are divided into weekly modules, and students mostly complete the activities at the same time (although they have control over when in the week they do work). That part of the design doesnt exist for the self-paced e-learning courses; there isnt that same kind of learning community.

Therefore, a "learning designer" has made the transition from design modules that seek to mimic what a teacher would do and focus now on learner engagement and interaction. How about this, the term "instructional" seems to focus more on the teacher while the term "learning" seems to focus more on the student.

What happened was that my carefully written first draft was tweaked and edited and stuffed and reupholstered so much to resemble what I now realize was a set of information dump modules. Which was just the way the SME wants it because thats how much information they give to the trainees in their classroom training.
