At the end, players see (anonymously) how their scores stack up. In 2006, Google created a game to help it tag pictures and photos on the web.

July 27, 2006. Yes, I could record an audio track along with PowerPoint. Multi-tasking Adversely Affects Brain's Learning - Science Daily. Even if you learn while multi-tasking, that learning is less flexible and more specialized, so you cannot retrieve the information as easily. I have even heard students praise such lectures.

points to a post that I had seen as well but he tracks the issue back to an article from CLO Magazine that discusses the renaming of the E-Learning Industry Group in Europe. Clark Quinn and I had a conversation about this issue back in December 2006. I just saw a post by B.J. Schone - Is the Term 'eLearning' Going to Become Extinct?

The 32% average score and the stubborn lack of improvement regardless of experience, education, and age suggests that most people in the learning-and-performance field are unprepared for roles as designers of learning, at least as far as their ability to apply knowledge of learning research.
