Coaching and Mentoring. There are vendors who are offering end-users the ability to view “experts” and select the one(s) they want to be their coach/mentor. Many vendors who offer coaching/mentoring are still in the text-based mode, which is pretty much reactive. Especially the right metrics – data.

Or they do a wonderful job with some, and not all (ahem Degreed – that other reports and metrics?). Reporting and Metrics – Plays an important role here, the days of only canned reports just won’t fly anymore. And more and more L&D and Training people want more segmented metrics. Jasper has to go. .

First to have metrics focused on web content – such as number of views of an article for example. This is not the same thing as metrics around content/courses, LMSs were – they started in 2000. The one area of weakness that continues to plague the LXP space is metrics. The metrics tend to be very so-so as a whole.

Before diving into the Q/A, for those who are interested but unaware, I know have a LinkedIn Group, called E-Learning Coach, which is me. E-Learning Coach is a free service. I found it interesting that the Workday Convergence show in 2019, which showed a lot of what Workday has to offer, never even showed Workday Learning.
