And since a website and course design is very similar, there’s probably a lot you can glean from your company’s site. How is the content on the site framed? Once I review the site and make notes on what I can use, I assemble the template. One video goes through the site and looks for inspiration. Content containers.

The general layout of their site would make a great elearning template. As you know, I like to use sites like this as inspiration to show how easy it is to create PowerPoint elearning templates. On one hand templates are great because they help guide the production process and maintain consistency. I tend to see templates less as rules for course structure and more as guiding principles. In a recent activity, they had all of the restaurant greeters videotape their best customer greeting and then upload the videos to their internal video site.
