Cornerstone CSX still doesn’t come with a built-in authoring tool, a reason my guess, is the presumption that the client already has one, but then with CSX comes Content Studio, the name of which adds to some confusion. Saba Cloud – Saba is such a wild card here. Saba was once a kingpin in the industry, then dropped down, now, I think they are on the upswing again, so it is a system to keep on an eye on. Quizdom is also included too – very good assessment tool, and their built-in authoring tool could be sold as a standalone.

I love the mobile Knowledge Arcade which is very cool and tied to the LMS, but not a fan that to use it – in terms of adding content to it, you need Genie their authoring tool. I wouldn’t touch the Saba solution, which has another alphabetical salad of letters, because CBX is significantly better. The Other modules – Absorb Create LI is their authoring tool. Many vendors, PF included is of the belief that everyone has a BI tool, and prefers to use that for their learning.
