So, one evening as the sun was setting, a whole bunch of us ended up down a side street in a tapas bar enjoying the culinary delights of the Catalan capital. It was a lot of fun to be in Barcelona at the same time as Doug Belshaw , Martin Weller , Audrey Watters and several other members of my PLN. It was mind numbingly boring.

Content is still very much king in schools, because 'content as curriculum' is easy and cost effective to deliver, and that is what most governments require and impose.
