Lastly, if the vendors, organizations and firms whose whole background, expertise and existence is tied to e-learning and they themselves are not fully understanding it, does this bode well for the industry as a whole? It is cost-cutting to them.  But at what cost? They want ILT (ugh). Maybe I was given free rein. You may come with an instructional design background OR at least understand ADDIE to create your online courses and even ILT (which was what ADDIE was designed for, along with those rotten and worthless manuals nobody reads). You

Overall though when tied into the other capabilities, and responses to my inquiries – covering a variety of questions and understanding the vendor’s response or lack thereof, will identify where they slide. I can not stress this enough, if you are basing your decision on the vendor’s client list, you are going to be unhappy.
