Im guessing youre designing online distance learning courses. Im in the weird place of for-profit education, which really has characteristics of both market sectors. Having just a bachelors degree seems to be fine as long as you arent working directly for the universities (Im not sure about K-12 online). What do you do?

Im curious what other folks experiences has been. Within the academic environment, people do care more at least about the level of the degree. I remember interviewing someone with 15 years of experience but no bachelor degree, and we had to turn her away in that university environment for the lack of degree.

Corporations can "personalize" a Professional Learning Environment (aka an LMS), allowing users to add their own widgets; they can allow trainers to update a users training record; they can let the user set preferences.
