World of Learning Conference Review

While I am sure that occurred at WOLC, the ones I gazed at, which were presented by vendors, had no sales pitch whatsoever, rather it was all about a specific subject tied to e-learning. The biggest knock on the show in previous years was that it was getting smaller with less vendors. To me that was impressive.

Sure, you can be extremely knowledgeable about the topic (in our case “e-learning”), but the vendor whose own product is built upon and within the e-learning framework should have additional insight, knowledge and understanding which exceeds the average customer looking for whatever online learning item.

For example, there were several vendors making their debut – as in their solution – at DevLearn. Personally, I think that is awesome. Some vendors just placed their “stamp” thing, on a table for anyone to go over, stamp their card and leave. E-Learning 24/7. Or at least that is my takeaway.
