. I export my Illustrator graphics as transparent high-resolution PNG files for easy import into Microsoft PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, or Adobe Captivate. To create the transparent PNG's, build the graphic on a separate artboard and note the artboard number.

A simple — a simple thing you can do is save it as a PNG, just copy and pasting the picture, or as an EMF. But that’s going to be a PNG, you won’t be able to scale it all the way up. Let’s save as picture, and let’s call that – well you can save it as a PNG, but we’re going to do it as – as an EMF.

Since delving into learning content development a few years ago, I've been continually impressed with Microsoft PowerPoint's capabilities. For example, I use PowerPoint to create transparent PNGs ( see my post from another blog ) that I can use in my Captivate projects. Those are just a few reasons I like it.

When Microsoft brought out 3D models support in PowerPoint, we were all a bit excited. Select the destination and save as PNG. From first experiments rotating objects with Morph to ambitious plans to recreate Star Wars in our favourite presentation software, we were determined to push boundaries. Here comes the exciting bit.
