Q : I am curious on why Cornerstone On Demand, Saba and SumTotal do not appear in your top twenty lists even though they appear on other sites as the best products in the market. My latest take on those three vendors (plus one) are: Cornerstone On Demand – I have seen the new UI and I like what I saw.

If you are someone who is considering some of the bigger dogs like Cornerstone or SumTotal, I would seriously look at these guys. eLogic Learning ($$-$$$) – Another solid performer who continues to get better and better. Big wins: On/Off synch for mobile devices, also supports Tin Can API. E-Learning 24/7.

Extensive APIs support. Support is fantastic and what I have found is they really care about their customers, a rarity in today’s space. TinCan support with mobile learning, however no on/off synch. Mobile learning support, but no TinCan nor on/off synch. Pay for only active users. Easy to use. #8

This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . In all the years I have attended and have known about ATD (formally ASTD), this year is by far the most in terms of e-learning vendors, especially those in the LMS space.

Case in point: IMO one of the worst UI’s I have ever seen comes from Cornerstone OnDemand, which is quite popular. Q: Saba, SumTotal, Cornerstone, Taleo, SuccessFactors must be the best because a lot of people buy these systems. I think you will be surprised at the number of vendors who will not match. With its m-learning capability including on/off synch and rather solid UI, the product continues to be an effective solution. While the pricing is outrageous and the Saba as a whole seems better suited as a HCM, their learning suite is a better alternative than those who want Cornerstone OnDemand. 15 Seminar Learning System .
