I’m seeing a nice increase with authoring tool vendors and even learning management systems incorporating via interface/integration or the “hidden link angle” other products. I know of a few LMS vendors who are adding tools coming from a variety of non-LMS vendors, via partnerships. Once in a Lifetime.

For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. This is one of those blended learning solutions, I previously noted. The reason I say education/academia more so – is that it is geared towards synchronous based learning, which is used more than 95% in education/academia space. BrainShark.

What I found was a solution that is a rapid e-learning authoring tool that offers easy to use functions as uploading learners and basic tracking results. To start, you select a PowerPoint that you have created or are creating and upload it into the system. Each PowerPoint slide appears in order, following your PPT order.

This will become one of the biggest features in 2012 – especially with people wanting to create simulations without being an e-learning developer. PowerPoint – Ability to integrate or use PPT in your courses. Some vendors push heavily on PPT, implying that a great WBT is really a PPT converted to Flash.

Compared to other e-learning industries, WC is not as stable. I have seen only a couple of vendors who require you ahead of time to enter in your web sites to visit, prior to going live on webinar, but that is an extreme rarity. PowerPoint – Real Time or Not? Upload your PPT or docs or whatever ahead of time.
