Regarding Rapid Intake – they were not there (also owned by Callidus), but my gut tells me that RI will become in some fashion an add-on option for Litmos (but still keeping the product available for the masses – who have their own systems) or be able to push out directly into the Litmos LMS (besides you being able to download the SCORM (..)

The freebie does not offer SCORM nor monitoring, but has social learning, assessment tool inc. Callidus Software acquired Rapid Intake, a great content authoring solution. Rapid Intake will stay as is – name, feature wise, etc. Edu 2.0 – follows the same approach that Schoology offers.

SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS. Q: I use Articulate, Rapid Intake and other 3rd party authoring tools, will they work in any LMS? Those that don’t are due to: Your tool works only with SCORM 2004 3rd edition, and your LMS only accepts AICC. Facility management. Ad-hoc reporting – i.e. you create your own custom reports.

Enables video to be recorded and guess what – SCORM compliant – finally! Yet, for the number of cool e-learning products out there and very hip and going places vendors (some of which were in attendance), many were not. LMS vendors surprised how many didn’t show up. Scored high marks for me.
