I thought a learning style test was a nice ramp up for an exercise where people had to blog about their own facilitator style - from the idea that it is good to know your own preferences and biases as a trainer/facilitator. and my strength to explain theories in a practical way. Soft skills practice – The whole activity was an exercise in “doing.” It was one of the activities at the Learning 2016 conference, hosted by the Masie Center. Some people focused on specific boxes while others floated around, either addressing things no one else had gotten to yet or trying to help when someone else was stuck.

The LCB Big Question and this exercise I think really demonstrate the virtual collective that we have out there in the ether in some virtually concrete ways. An initial note – on the topic of what these virtual trainers have to look like in terms of graphics, I’d recommend Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics and Raph Koster’s Theory of Fun.
