Studio ‘09 is made up of three different tools: Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker. The new Quizmaker, in particular, is a welcome addition to the Articulate Studio Suite. Just like Studio ‘09, Storyline is Tin Can, SCORM, and AICC compliant, and content can now can be published to iOS using HTML5. . How much is it? What is it?

All of that, compatible with PowerPoint 2013, and with reliable conversion to both Flash and HTML5. Conversion of even big slide shows with lots of images, animation and audio is very fast. The Quizmaker provides options to create graded multiple choice, matching, hotspot, even text entry items or ungraded survey-style quizzes.

That said, I wish they would offer the option of a true tree option, rather than the standard “slide” icon layout. Slide properties – I have a pet peeve with the term (slides) instead of the terms of chapter, page, etc. Story View (Default) – With mini slide in the center. Untitled Slide 1.

Numerous steps to view in HTML5. “Upload your content to a web server, you just give your learners a link to the story.htm file” – This is to view the course in HTML5 on your iPad. QuizMaker – which assumes you have Studio. New Slide – add a new slide to the project (more on that in one sec).

I’ve always found this product to be the top of the line for PowerPoint to Flash course builds. Two components are the shining stars – Presenter and Quizmaker. Case in point: Use of the term “slides” Any e-learning developer would know that the proper term is pages, as in Chapter-Pages. Feature rich.
