The way I use it with PowerPoint is to frame the window around a slide. When I want to advance the slide, I just click the page-down button. By the way, I ran the audio output cable into my audio input to capture the slide’s audio. Create your PowerPoint slides and save as images. Then upload them as a photo album.

You can dock the tool palettes on the iPad and have the entire PC screen available to you for your photo. You can also use your camera to add photos of slides or a blackboard to enhance your notes, and the photo acts the same way as the typed notes – just click the photo, and jump to that portion of the audio.

The biggest thing I would like to see is that we add some voiceover on just about all of the slides. on just about all slides. They think the program isnt working when they come across a slide that doesnt have v.o. The slide/screen itself can focus on key points and or use diagrams. I can sure relate to this!

Her slide "People Learn Differently" looks very similar to Loewens Playground Theory. I think audio is very effective when you want to establish an emotional connection or when the visual is actually important to the content and needs to be described (as opposed to eye candy like stock photos). Once it’s online, they realize that many of the courses look like PowerPoint slides. You can modify the clip art images or take your own photos. Tidbits: I’m at ASTD TechKnowledge in San Jose all this week. So they buy an authoring tool and quickly convert the content. In no time at all, they’ve got great looking courses.

Use a Photo Management Application. Picasa or Windows Live Photo Gallery (both free) will scan your hard drive and locate images. Check out the Photo Fuse feature in Windows Live Photo Gallery (could the name be a little longer please). It’s pretty slick and could come in handy if shooting your own stock photos.

Since I had no time to build the graphics I wanted, I decided to change the huddled family image to a framed photo of a family. So I decided to switch from a single picture frame to Polaroid photos of each family member. As you can see, I didn’t have to do much work because I used the default layouts for my slide backgrounds.

Sometimes you can find disks with fonts, clip art or photos for just a few dollars. Slide Notes. The most obvious place to add notes is in the slide notes area of the slide.
