In this blog, I’ll give you three ideas on how to organize your work so that you can keep your head on straight when using Camtasia 9. Since Camtasia 9 doesn’t have an in-editor file system, you’ll want to use your computer’s File Explorer (or Finder for Mac) for these organizations. But it doesn’t help you keep your files organized once they’re in Camtasia.

The answer is in having a secondary audio track with either sound effects, or music. In the video below I’ll be outlining two types of essential audio mixing skills for dealing with at least two tracks of audio: Ducking, and Notching. In review, Ducking is when you reduce the volume of your secondary audio (like a soundtrack or background noise) to leave volume space for your primary audio.
