I jumped straight into it without referring to the instructions, and while I’m familiar with authorware, I expect it’s intuitive enough for Average Joe to work it out too. When I couldn’t figure out how to delete a lecture, for example, I found the solution via someone else who had raised a similar problem.

You could use any of the many authoring tools, such as Authorware, but you needed an appropriate player. The problem with committee work is well known; in this case vendors who participated wanted the standard to make it easy for their content to be made compliant. Learning Standards. Not necessarily. Absolutely!

In response to the demand for more accessible authoring tools, Authorware was born. Using Authorware , learning professionals could create learning programs with hyper-simplistic designs, primarily through dragging and dropping icons. If someone else needed to edit the module, but didn’t have the source file, that was a problem.

Tablets have larger screens and are uniquely positioned as field staff’s support device for trouble shooting problems by referring to product manuals and operational procedures. Even though the iPad disappoints in its current version, I are sure this will change with future versions of iPad itself and various other tablets.
