Screencasts for knowledge sharing

On a whim, I started a public blog about my work. In addition to blogging, I started tweeting about the topics that interested me and some of the unique scenarios I encountered. Suddenly I was teaching online courses, presenting tech demonstrations on YouTube, and writing on other sites. It’s a win-win! I was hooked!

When Screencast supported quizzing, our marketing team asked to include quizzes on www.techsmith.com. If Jing could upload images to Screencast, then Snagit should be able to as well.

Tom’s also a screencasting pro, and he frequently puts video content on his YouTube channel or on Screencast.com. For starters, my students write so much more than they did prior to when we were strictly writing on paper. I think that it helps them to write to an authentic audience. I love how it’s a “safe” environment.
