ranks pretty highly in the Google search results for “ instructional designer ,&# currently #3 (behind Wikipedia & Indeed). In 2008, I had about 61,000 total views; this year I had about 79,000. Subscribers are long-term readers, where many of my views are just search engine traffic from people who will never be back.

No they were not, because we enjoyed an excellent first day here at ALT-C 2008. Known as Gap Minder , it reveals statistics in a way never before seen, except perhaps in a more simplistic way by the likes of visual search engines such as Quintura. Wikipedia is read by people who know it is not true, and that is its value.
