A calling to a large number of vendors (small, medium and big), are all reporting strong numbers in January, with many saying that January 2011, was their best month – numbers and business wise, in the last few years.

What is true is that you can view the courses you have created on any mobile device that supports HTML5 including the iPad series. . Even if the product is a desktop product all you need to do is upload the course to your own web server, use the vendor’s web server or via a LMS. This can be via. Your mobile web browser.

In 2011, I saw quite a few items that resonated. They involved talent management, “hello and goodbye” with vendors, social learning, upswing in mobile learning, new feature sets in the authoring tool space, flat lining in web conferencing and standalone platforms.
