A calling to a large number of vendors (small, medium and big), are all reporting strong numbers in January, with many saying that January 2011, was their best month – numbers and business wise, in the last few years.

In 2009, a well known and highly respected vendor was advertising on their site that their focus was their LMS, yet behind the scenes told me that they perceived their system as a performance management system. In fact they told me that 63% of their customers were using the system as a TM/PM and not as a LMS.
