How is their support? EdCast – #1 LXP for 2020. Mobile mimics as well, a big thank you on that. They lack a mobile app, something I constantly get on them about, but their playlist capabilities, including the ability to add podcasts is very cool. Mobile app is good. How forward thinking are they? The benefit?

For vendors who made the final cut of 50, each was send a packet, which requested a series of responses, including around NexGen feature sets, other features that are essential (beyond the standards which they all have), technology related, security related, remote workforce related (new), training and support.

What it isn’t – is a list of systems based on a 15 point criteria that I use for my Top 50 for 2020. That said, support has improved greatly – especially with an outstanding mobile support app, a big plus for me, and they – the folks at SumTotal seem to be moving in the right direction.

Some vendors are angling “performance support”, which I personally think is the wrong message. See #4 – because that spin of performance support will go over like a lead balloon for folks wanting customer education. You want performance support? Mobile is strong. Marketplace is good.
