This solution reminds me of Articulate Studio in terms of its capabilities, but at a lower cost. The new iSpring Pro 7 – currently in beta adds additional powerhouse features, including PPT to HTML5 output (which right now is a standalone product). #8 Yeah it is another PPT spin product but does stand out. #5 Bottom Line.

Many of you already use tools like Photoshop to create your graphics. GIMP : solid Photoshop alternative. Paint.net : solid Gimp or Photoshop alternative:). One quick question…How do you do the annotation on your slides inside of Articulate? Is there an Articulate update I missed to allow you to do this?

Because it is Adobe – the same folks who came up with Photoshop a long time ago, who brought us Premiere – a long time ago and who bought Macromedia – again, a long time ago. HTML5 output including a PPT converter to HTML5. 2 Articulate Storyline. Why say that? Themes, interactions. Collaboration.

PowerPoint still reigns – If you are a course purist, the idea that PPT should be seen as an authoring tool should make you grumble with disgust. . I recall a conversation I had last year with some folks from Articulate who informed me that PowerPoint is an authoring tool. PowerPoint is presentation software. SaaS tool.

Uses a PowerPoint like layout, albeit it shows a hierarchy approach which many people will like – so if you think this is nothing more than PPT in appearance – trust me it is not. 2 Articulate Storyline. Features I like include: Extensive set of capabilities from repositories to object panes. Scenario builder. hehehhehe. #2

Adobe Photoshop Express – in the cloud and very popular. Remember when only a few offered the PPT to Flash option in their tools? Most people assume that Articulate, Lectora and Captivate are the best tools out there, that is no longer the case. Google Docs – ever heard of em? Microsoft Live – same thing.
