2014 – The Year In Review


Hosted a Stop for Karl Kapp’s Blog Book Tour: We were delighted to host one of the stops for Karl Kapp’s blog book tour (organized for his ASTD co-published book ‘The Gamification of Learning and Instruction Fieldbook: Theory into Practice’). 2014 has been a wonderful year for us, because it was replete with LEARNNOVATIONS (learning innovations). And, it has earned us many an insight from thought leaders who travelled along with us in our quest for knowledge. I’ll confess that I may not have been at the ASTD conference every day this past week, but I do have some impressions of the event I’d like to share. I was pleasantly surprised at the large turn-out (unofficial estimates are somewhere around 8,000), which was comprised of a large contingent of international attendees and probably a good amount of people networking for a job. conducted a workshop on developing interactive learning objects such as games and simulations with game designer Joe Rheaume ( games can teach ) on Saturday.
