They had a Facebook page, and a twitter account, and a blog they had a placeholder for, and they couldn’t figure out how they were going to populate these. They were naturally concerned about what to blog, what to put on the Facebook page, what they would tweet about, and how they’d get the content for it, and keep it up.

The key is for the charts is: Darkest blue - daily Medium blue - weekly Light blue - monthly Gray - never Tool Use in Corporations Some things that jumped out at me: Much more blog reading that I expected. Interestingly RSS readership for "weekly" only adds up to 41%. There's clearly a gap here around the use of RSS readers.

About this change to the site…

While I could do a blog in Rapidweaver, I’m afraid I’d lose my decade+ of posts! I still need to figure out a way to let folks sign up for Learnlets as an email feed (beyond RSS, but through Feedblitz, the service I use), but other than that it’s pretty much the same. So, I’ve kept it in WordPress.

Here's what he said: I just don't get why folks are trying to lump in wikis, blogs, rss, etc. RSS, Blog, Wikis, etc. So, why are they coming up in talks, blog posts, etc. But when you come out and essentially say that there's nothing that interesting about Wikis, Blogs and RSS when it comes to learning or Learning.
