As e-learning developers we are often given slide decks to convert into self-directed eLearning modules. Now, not all slide decks deserve to be converted, in fact most eLearning developers would cringe and shy away from just converting a slide deck and handing it back as an eLearning module.

For example, with an application like Quizmaker you’re inclined to focus on the quizzing because that’s what it’s designed to do. So when you want to build a quiz, you use Quizmaker. But when you want to build “regular” elearning, then you use something else. And this is where the elearning community comes in handy.

There are also a few community members who also shared what they use and recorded some demos. There are a few common issues when working with rapid elearning tools. If you use Quizmaker ‘09, make sure to take advantage of the Slide View feature. 720×540 is the 4:3 ratio of PowerPoint slides.

Included with the PowerPoint file is a matching Articulate Quizmaker template customized with a matching color scheme. That means you need to add hyperlinks from the tabs to the appropriate slides. You can see those above in slides 2-4. Duplicate those slides for each section. It also includes the Quizmaker file.
