I’m a junky for all of the free stuff online. I do most of my basic editing with it because it’s on my PC and does most of what I need for my online courses. For rapid elearning converting to the SWF and FLV Flash formats are important and Format Factory supports this. SWF Player. FLV Player. Simple as that.

Think various delivery modes – the eLearning player should be easily portable to multiple delivery modes [like offline EXE, online without LMS, online with LMS]. flv [Flash video format] is not supported in some servers by default and it needs to be configured. In a similar sense, the elearning course is like the information online. I agree that straightforward info delivery has a place, but I wonder if that place is an online course and not, say, a standard web page. What is imporant to keep in mind is learner’s style and type of content it will be produce online. Cathy Moore.

I don’t mean to sound dated, but sometimes I use the type of software that installs on my hard drive rather than an online application. You can import photos from a digital camera, edit them, and make and share Picasa Web Albums online. ONLINE CHAT. Most everyone has their favorite online chatting tool. FLV Player.
