One question that I get often is How does the Motorola Xoom compare to the iPad? So without further ado, here are 10 things I really like about the Xoom as compared to the iPad, which I bought and have used since the first day it went on sale: 1. The iPad has nothing comparable to this. Multitasking. Very powerful stuff.

A Google search on ‘Apple iPad’ throws up an excess of 30 million results! Clearly the Apple iPad has drawn much applause and an equal amount of criticism in the last few weeks. Howard Rheingold is said to be one of the first community managers on the web and seems to be walking his talk, which is why I bought his book. The 'second screen' in the form of an ipad in front of you while watching television or being in a conference or training is already accepted. Later I closed everything.

Now, of course, there is some overlap in time due to multitasking, but there is no question we spend a big chunk of time on our phones. This takes place on laptops, tablets/iPads, and smartphones. Multitasking. Optimizing your content and information for mobile is imperative—make sure it’s short, sweet, and to the point.
