Authoring tools. A vendor says “elearning course” ignoring that it really has a hyphen between the e and the l. I never understood why a vendor does this. Why can’t a vendor simply say video? Plus, if they system accepts other SCORM types or AICC or xAPI, you will never see those mentioned or listed.

Questions to Ask Ur Prospective LMS Vendor

Because if you are using a content authoring tool that is SCORM 2004, then you must find a system that is at least 2004. What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . By job role?
