A funny thing happened on the way to using GPT-4 last week, which I suspect that the vendors who have implemented GPT-4 and are using it as a statement/Q and A to the learners were not paying attention to. Turbo, which many vendors use that have OpenAI. Copilot from Microsoft is not ready for primetime.

Thus, I focused on at least 50% for Tier 5 (although the higher the better, but even today, vendors are still a work in progress on these items), 85% or higher for Tier 4, 100% Tier 3. I won’t say who the vendor is, but they are big into adaptive learning and push that as the key for their system. Every item received points.

The reason behind it was simply that so many vendors pitch they are NexGen (often referring to it as Next Generation), when in fact, they are not. This is to say, that any learning system vendor who tells you they are NexGen, should have Tier 1 functionality (in its entirety or at least 60% of it). Netscape anyone? . NexGen Tier2.
