Once a darling of vendors who used it to show their demos, now? In fact, in 2019, I did not see one demo from a vendor on Adobe Connect. Personally a vendor can call their system whatever they want, but there are a few factoids to remember about micro-learning. Cumbersome? Not so much. You tell me, is that a good thing?

Another big-time player in the learning technology/system space is Vista Equity, a PE, who at one-time in the 2009-time frame owned SumTotal. In 2021, they invested in Schoox.

This isn’t a beauty contest, nor a pay for play (I NEVER accept that, nor play that game, nor do I accept any referral fees or whatever some vendors offer for recommending them). I admit have the time when I look at a few from the larger name entities, I can’t figure out how that vendor got to that part of that grid, what in the heck does that mean, and why is that vendor who isn’t even a learning system, appearing in that section of the grid over there? I’m not sure why people love grids.

Plays quite well in Multi-Tenant (aka Extended Enterprise), SMB is its strong suite and mid-market. Good for Enterprise. . I love the multi-tenant (extended enterprise) functionality, SMS notification (text) as well as the standard e-mail notification. How a vendor of this size and quality can have this business approach in this day and age is beyond me. Another big win – multi-tenant (extended enterprise). Any vendor can do that. #3

Never assume that they know the terminology in the industry, nor assume that what you think one term means, doesn’t necessarily mean what the vendor thinks it means. In the Enterprise and Large Enterprise it is not uncommon to get pricing that is quite high, especially if the vendor knows procurement is involved.

The first vendor in the industry to offer one-click content (i.e. Setup timeframe for Enterprise is anywhere from one to six months depending on complexitites. Registration takes about a minute. UI/UX has always been quite good. Marketplace is good too.
