Never hear it, even though Blackboard has been around since the late 90’s (as online that is). . But flip over onto corporate and the floodgates open. I am still at a loss on why people buy SuccessFactors for learning. .

Otherwise they – SAP/SF can create the user interface – but guess what? #1 The user interface is solid. Absolutely not.

In the Enterprise and Large Enterprise it is not uncommon to get pricing that is quite high, especially if the vendor knows procurement is involved. Enterprise means whatever the vendor wants it to mean in employee (end-users) numbers. Extended Enterprise is a dated term, yet vendors still use it. UI/UX good.

The challenge this year though was “Enterprise”, which nowadays is all over the place in terms of number of minimum end users. Do not let SAP tell you that if you are large enterprise this is the system you want and not SAP Litmos. Litmos can handle large enterprise and is a far better system.

I love their playlists capability and their coach/share module is wonderful (it is part of the Enterprise system version), but you can also purchase it as a standalone if you say, buy just the base version and not enterprise. Setup timeframe for Enterprise is anywhere from one to six months depending on complexitites.
