Im guessing youre designing online distance learning courses. Im in the weird place of for-profit education, which really has characteristics of both market sectors. Having just a bachelors degree seems to be fine as long as you arent working directly for the universities (Im not sure about K-12 online). What do you do?

Tweetdeck Im officially hooked to Twitter and use Tweetdeck to organize and group those I follow. Not only is Twitter great for the occasional laugh, but also a great source of information and links. But Gcal helps me keep myself organized, and now that Ive discovered CalenGoo for the iPod Im all synched up. Very nice list.

No problems getting things here. So, yes, you have to set up policies and alert people just like you do around any form of electronic communication (email, IM). Orientations, classes, and meetings are often held in Second Life. Barriers I then asked everyone to call out what they saw as their biggest barriers to getting adoption.

A really common problem is to dump a lot of info into a course that would be more useful outside the course, searchable on the intranet or included in help files or even just printed on a card that learners can look at.
